A whole new spin to the term 'Office Party'

Every Friday at work, one of the teams is given a set amount of monies and asked to cook lunch for the entire office. This is around forty people. Every week one of the teams selects a theme of sorts. Last week the SEO folks made the most amazing wraps with honey and ginger and then waffles for dessert. See, we have a knock-out kitchen at work with a big dining room in the center. On my first day here, I went to make tea and people were like, frying eggs and making toast and I was like... Okay. Awesome

We were given very short notice that it was our turn today. I thought it would be fun to do a kiddies birthday party theme. We made pizzas with mozzarella, cranberry and rocket. Traditional hot dogs. Fruit kebabs. Popcorn. Cheese curls, marshmallows, suckers, candied ice creams. It was a-amazing. I also made a cake last night, at home.

I made a rainbow cake with lemon and vanilla layers and a butter frosting. I colored in pieces of paper and made the bunting topper with a piece of string and kebab sticks. We played pass-the-parcel which was really too much fun. I really love this place. Here are some pretty pictures of a handsome-looking lunch!
