Swimming with the fishes. In a good way.

We took the boys to the Two Oceans Aquarium for the FIRST time on Saturday. Man alive they loved it. I mean, we had taken them to the Johannesburg Zoo so.many.times, but they had never reacted this way or been so engaged. It was really nice to see how interested they were in ocean life. I laughed at the Nemo Tank, filled with clown fish. And all the other kids were like "Nemo Nemo Nemo! DORY" and mine were like "wtf". I really should get them more movies or something. They don't know who any of those characters are.

Benjamin especially was overwhelmed. He ran from tank to tank exploring the contents. Like, mad excited. Noah loved the touch pool and the puppet shows and well, the food. I did feel a bit weird ordering seafood at the restaurant there, so we had Chicken Mayonnaise Baguettes and all shared a huge slice of chocolate cake. We drank loads of water and were pretty buggered at the end of the day. We didn't see everything and thought best to save the rest for the next visit.

The kids got in for free as they are under four. We are definitely going to buy the family package, or get an Annual Pass. I loved the kids play area with sand pits and craft tables. The kids went like, insane. I sort of maybe lost Benjamin once or twice, but we won't talk about that too much. Ever. Golly wolly that child can run. I don't think that we've ever had such a great time at a venue before. I thought that it would be really boring. Fish tanks? Lame. Whatever....

Thank you Two Oceans Aquarium for the nice time. We'll be back sooner than you think. With friends.

This is not my picture. This is Google's picture. I stole-n it. Yes. I do feel like a bit of a rebel right now. All edgy and stuff

The kids travel like this in the pram. I strap Benjamin in front and Noah chills back seat. It's literally how they roll.

Okay I get it. This is why people ask us if the boys are twins. I thought they were douche bags. I see their point now

A day is really just not complete without ice cream for the ride home. They fell asleep holding these in the car. Then I had to hold them all the way home, bubblegum ice cream sauce dripping all over my hands, wrists and lap. Obviously when we got home they asked for them and I was just like "They died, sorry. They are swimming with the fishes."
