This morning the boys and I wrote their letters to Father Christmas. They were so excited. They dictated to me and then I asked them to sign their names / drawings. We put their letters in to an envelope and it's all ready to drop off at the posting box tomorrow morning. I'm literally just going to write "Father Christmas" with our return address and see what happens. The boys HAVE to see me actually put it in a post box otherwise they will never believe this stuff. We really loved doing this and we'll do it every year until they stop believing.
So strange that Noah asked for new pillows. He says he's had the same one for a long time and he should have a new one. Such a practical little boy. I mean, what four year old in the world asks for a new pillow for Christmas? And also new "small blankies" for his nap time at school because he says he needs a new one for the new year. When I asked Ben what he wanted for Christmas he said "presents" and when I asked "which presents" he said "just tell Father Christmas presents". Little Ben LOVES books much more than Noah ever has. Wiggle wants puzzles because he likes to accomplish and learn things. He wants a watch so that he always knows what time it is. Benjamin loves books and silly outfits because he loves stories and his imagination. It was really interesting doing this list with them - gives you so much insight in to their differences. Noah the practical boy and Ben all play pretend. Have you done a list with your kids?
