Sweet things for good boys

I love the boys' toy collection right now. It took me a while to build it and figure out what they actually enjoy playing with, and what gets left behind and forgotten.

We went to Osmans in Lansdowne recently. They're like a cash and carry vibe. I got the most beautiful things there, for so cheap. Like - I bought twelve good quality wooden puzzles, the vehicle shapes puzzle, a chalk board, shape sorter and a book for like two hundred rands - for all of it. Oh, and I got them cool Winnie The Pooh plates and cups. And chalk. And alphabet blocks. Yes. A wooden puzzle is like eight rand, it's ridiculous. Most of this stuff is from there. The flash cards are from the Old Biscuit Mill and we just love them.

The Hello Kitty and Felt Shape Sorter books are from Reader's Warehouse and we got a few others from there too - that I'll talk about later.

We are really enjoying the rabbits, Charlie and Lola. They are so precious and tame and sweet. We've taught Noah how to carry them properly - one hand under tummy, one under bum. And Benjamin loves sitting on the couch with Lola on his lap. Mostly, the boys also love bathing and splashing together. Having tea-parties in there. Tearing up sponges. Trying to wash each other's hair. Screaming because one of them got soap in the eye. Usual stuff.
