Last night,
Nikki,
Susana, Vanessa, Haley and I went to the
Salt Deli & Vodka Bar which is part of the
Ambassador Hotel on 29 Victoria Road in Bantry Bay. It was their re-launch and we had a super time. The food was just divine, and they make *the* best pink Mojitos that were just a bit too easy to drink!
I ate a lot of oysters, which everyone knows is one of my favorite things in the world. The Vodka Bar has the most delish chocolate vodkas ever. I am a bit past the shooter phase, so Nikki and I were doing a lot of sipping and a lot of eating so that nothing would go to our heads too much. They have an outside area with couches, heaters and screens so it was nice and warm. I like this place. Will definitely go back. Also, sincerely making a mission to book a weekend at the Ambassador across the road. I can totally see myself on that deck sometime next summer. All day. Tanned. You know, in 'that' world where I don't have adorable children on weekends. In that world where I sleep past seven am and sit on the couch all day reading books. Where I have an hour-long hot bath with nobody knocking on the door or giving running commentary on my leg shaving skills. In 'that' world, I'm on this deck all day. I can totally see it.
