This weekend we tried to fit some admin in to everything. Our house is being repainted outside, and we needed to fetch some things for the nice painter man. I thought it would be a good time to move some furniture around, trading the boys' old compactum for a bookshelf. It was chaos, and eventually I just gave up on sorting their room and shoved everything in to the cupboard. So over it. I made their 'activity buckets' all neat on their shelves and it took them all of seventeen seconds to destoy it.
Their new favourite indoor activity is having a tea party, which makes me very happy because it lets me sit on the couch and do absolutely nothing for at least twenty minutes. You know, while I should be sorting out their cupboards. I can't wait to post pictures of the new paint job! Our house is going from toffee-vomit brown to a nice, sky / dove grey. My eyes are excited.
