Well. That was a nice weekend.

It was a really busy weekend here in the Cape Town at the Bettles-Clark residence. Design Indaba was really nice and I came home with a few bunny ceramics that were super fun. On Friday I had my nice Claire and Dylan over for some bike riding. You know those small black plastic kiddie bikes that we all had? I have four of them at home. I am not kidding. Our poor neighbors.

On Saturday night, Graeme got us nice free tickets to 2 Door Cinema Club, and it was a nice concert at a great venue. We left early though, at like 11pm because well, we're not indie kids anymore, and I'm pretty sure we never were. Also, we're too old for that stuff, and I'm not a fan of queues at bars and queues at bathrooms and super crazy super drunk people jumping up against you. The Plastics were really good! I'd rather be sitting at a nice table with a glass of wine and some oysters at the Jazz Festival (coming up SOOOON). You know? I like concerts, but next time it will be to see like, Gotye or She and Him or M Ward or Edward Sharpe or something. Yes. For them, I would use a porter potty. You know? Anyway.

On Sunday we took the boys to like a million beaches. Did anyone in Cape Town notice the crazy waves and that all the beaches had erm, no beach? We ended up in Hout Bay, which I love. There were big bands playing, the boys had such a gas, we got them ice cream and took a walk around the harbor too. On the way home, we grabbed a super large fresh hake from the fish market for like, nothing! Graeme made it all fancy at hom. What a nice Sunday dinner!

I really am loving Cape Town. The boys are so happy here. Everything is going really well. I like it.

Quite a few of these bunny ceramics came home with me. Never enough though.
