Last week I received a nice little parcel from the gals over at Poise. Inside it was a whole bunch of really awesome Mama Mio products! Wait, this is not making sense. OK, so POISE is the sole distributor of Mama Mio in South Africa. Yes. And Mama Mio was founded in London by four beauty experts. They create high performance face, body and spa treatments to give you nice skin. Basically. They feel that if your skin looks fit, toned, nourished, strong, smooth, elastic, touchable and glowing... Then you will feel gorgeous (obviously).
Mama Mio is huge overseas, and I've seen all the chlebs tweeting this and that and even ol' Jack Parow's uber hot pregnant girlfriend, Jenna is a fan. More on that later. So I couldn't believe my luck when the nice girls sent these products over. Each one was aimed at areas that I am already insecure about. I mean, who actually likes their stretch marks / ageing skin? Not me I don't.
I don't use any 'beauty' products. I use regular soap and sometimes nick the boys' aqueous cream. I'm super slack like that, not even sunblock I tell you. It's awful. I'm twenty seven (!!!) -when did that happen - and I'm really not taking care of myself. I'm that same old cliche of having kids, being busy, working mom and not taking proper care of myself. And it stops right here (insert foot stomp)!
Anyway, I've been lathering all sorts of nice-smelling Mama Mio products all over myself this past week and I am loving it. I feel good, and that toner is the business. You can even put in on your face sometimes for a quick perk-up. I cannot confirm nor can I deny that I've been using it on my knees, elbows and thighs. And my forehead. OK fine and my bum. And stomach. Sigh. That stuff is awesome. I also thought that the Omega cream could be super greasy, but it's NOT. It just soaks up and disappears and leaves you all soft and smelling like a fruit bowl.
It's too soon to report back on the stretch-mark cream... But I will. I have two little stretch marks on either side of my lower abdomen and I hate them like I hate Hitler and shops that don't stock Capri Sun.

I could get used to this. As soon as this stuff runs out, I'm getting more. And I want even MORE beauty stuff now. Fancy things like my own hair brush and all those nice things that other girls use. And yes, I must get some sunblock. Soon. Today. This pampering stuff is quite addictive, and nice. I feel good, you know? All soft and shiny and nice-smelling. I like it. Thank you Poise and thank you Mama Mio for the spoiling and the introduction to your awesome products.
If you aren't using Mama Mio yet, then hop over to the facebook page for more information and lists of stockists etc. They'll be doing a few competitions and giveaways soon, so sign up. This stuff makes you feel wonderful.
