I've never done a recipe post before, but I love food (too much) and I love cooking. I'm pretty darn good at it too, I think. I love cooking from scratch, but this meal is a bit of a cheat. It's really just buying ready-made things and putting them together. You can add veggies like I did last night. You could add meats like bacon or ham I suppose, or fresh spinach or cheese sauce or whatever your vibe is. If you serve this cold, as a salad, then I would really say add plain yoghurt to the pesto mix, just to make it creamier. If I had a ripe avo at home, it would totally have been in here.
So (yay) here is my first little recipe post thingy. I'll put more up and the idea of this has really encouraged me to make more adventurous, nice-looking meals. I mean, I was just going to make fish fingers tonight, but now I am all like noooooo, how am I going to photograph FISH FINGERS. You know? I know you know. Here goes. The pictures really are self-explanatory, but just: 1. Cook pasta and meat and veggies etc separately. 2. Mix them all together in a dish once cooked, wish the pasta. 3. Then pour in the pesto, mix again and garnish with rocket or basil. 4. Invite hungry friends / husbands / babies / toddlers 5. Beam at how awesome you are.
