The boys have just left for work and school, so before I jump / dive / fall in to the rest of the party planning, I quickly wanted to save this little moment. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BENJAMIN. You are THREE. You are sooooo big my little bunny. My little bunny mouse. Bun-Buns. Benniiiie. We love you SO much and my heart pumps spidey webs for you and I love you more than aaaallllll the marshmallows and chocolate sprinkles in the whole, whole world. 

Daddy and I woke you up with a bit of a fright, but your face was so precious we really could not resist. Totally worth it. I wish I could have been inside your head those first three seconds that you were awake. I made you some crumpets and put in some food coloring so that they were SPIDER-MAN CRUMPETS. We all had tea together. Mommy and daddy bought you a present that we know you'll love: Spider-Man walkie-talkies for you and Noah. You can talk up to 50m from each other, and we know how much fun you're going to have hiding in cupboards and behind closed doors having many secret conversations about very important things. It's not a HUGE present, but its something that we know you'll love because you love gadgets, talking, phones and you love playing with your brother. Perfect!

You've just left for school with a big chocolate cake for all your classmates. We're going to fetch you guys a bit early today, then take you to Spur for a song and a burger and milkshakes and ice cream and a sparkler. Tomorrow is your big party, and we can't wait either. You're such a popular little guy - SO many people are coming to your party little boy. We're all rushing around behind the scenes a bit - trying to find silly string and a Spider-Man suit that we can't find ANYWHERE. We have now called the grannies in to assist. They are the professionals. In the meantime: Sit tight, eat cake, shoot webs and save the planet from bad birthdays everywhere. We love you.
