I'm going on a CRUISE!! with the MSC OPERA and I'm taking my MOM!!

So the lovely people at MSC Cruises have invited me and a partner along their MSC Opera cruise - from Cape Town to Durban, a four night, five day trip of awesome. Then they'll fly us back from Durban. I've asked my mom to join me and we're both just so excited for some girl time. I've touched on the fact that my mom not well, so this trip is exactly what she needs to escape a bit, and I'm grateful for this opportunity to treat her. 

Our trip includes a balcony cabin, meals, gym, pools, drinks, spa treatments, entertainment, flights, accommodation and internet access.  My mom and I are both excited that they have a little casino on board because we LOVE playing Blackjack and being silly together. My mom is LOADS of fun and we are going to have such a blast. 

So for a week in November, I'll be working from my ocean cabin, the lounge, the poolside or the casino in the middle of the ocean. I'm so grateful that I'm a freelancer and that I'm able to go on this trip and get all the work done too. I'm going to miss the socks off the boys and Grays, but they're at school & work every day that week, so it won't be that awful (for them). I'll also get to see my dad when we dock in Durban, which I'm downright GIDDY about. 

Have you considered a cruise for your December or Easter plans? It's completely affordable and family friendly too. I've never been on a cruise before, and I'm touching all the trees in the forest in hope that I won't get seasick. Again, so grateful.
