Kinderelo online shopping, a baby competition & a tea party from Paris.

I recently played around on the newish Kinderelo website - an online baby & kid things store. We didn't have such amazing online shopping services in South Africa when I was expecting Noah OR Benjamin, so this is a luxury that I missed out on in a huge way. I am really not a fan of shopping centers, especially on payday or any day really. When I go out with the kids I get distracted and rush to get just anything that 'will do' for the sake of getting the kids out of the center again. I have cupboards of things that I need to return. I love how relaxing, peaceful & safe shopping online is.

Shopping online is my favorite invention right up there with the hair straightener and heels. I am so jealous of new mothers and fathers that get to use sites like Kinderelo while I had to tug my giant belly around in the height of summer in crowded shops. I had a very good sniff around, and the prices are standard, the products and ranges are extensive and there are quite a few items on the site that I haven't seen in stores at all. I did a lot of fantasy shopping. I did a lot of snooping and browsing for my future daughter that exists only in my imagination. We had fun.

In the end, I couldn't 'walk out' without almost the entire Petit Jour Paris range, and I'll show you what I got just now. What I love about Kinderelo is that they stock all the big brands and have everything from nipple caps to toys to bum cream, potties, botties and breast pumps, cots and car seats - everything. They also have a gift voucher section so if you're not really sure what to get for a new mom - please my goodness get her a voucher - she will love you and it's so convenient for you both. I ordered my things - got a confirmation email, then a shipment confirmation email, then a nice man came knocking on my front gate within two days. So rad. So jealous of ALL of you.

I got a 'few' items from the Petit Jour Paris range - Beatrix Potter and Mr Men. I love kids crockery and food styling for the boys. They love  their new plates and things. Last night they ate almost allll their supper off of these pretty new faces. I got two sets of each which I'm going to pack away for the boys and hopefully their kids one day. So special! The boys weren't home when it all arrived, so I had a little tea party with Mr Froggy and Mr Teddy. They really are the best guests (Noah and Benjamin LOVED these photos, and that I had a tea party with their teddies. Like, if you want to impress your kids: play with their toys when they're not there)

Mr Teddy got very greedy with the icing sugar popcorn. I eventually had to take his plate away. The mess!

I have it on good authority that Kinderelo is hosting a baby competition at the moment to be the FACE of Kinderelo. So if you think your baby or toddler is adorable (every parent on earth steps forward) then click on over here to enter and upload a photo! You can win prizes to the value of R7500!

I have sent in photos of my handsome little men  - because I'm a mom and this what we do. Take a moment to appreciate how heartbreakingly gorgeous these two are and you absolutely must send in pictures of your little mushrooms and squirrels too! Every baby is adorable and beautiful. Send the competition link on to parents of cute kids everywhere.
