A little Raising Men update - sick boys, planning trips and clothes, always!

I did some shopping at Design Indaba - obviously. I came home with this pretty floral I Love Leroy skirt and that wool crop jacket from Non-European and I love both. They look so beautiful together, don't you think? I've been putting a lot more money and time in to my wardrobe lately, which I'm really enjoying. Dress up really doesn't stop with Barbies.

The garden's been looking really pretty lately, and Charlie and Lola have burrowed all along the one side, which is a trauma. Some days we get home and we can't open the garden gate as there's so much sand and soil all over the pavement. So far, no baby rabbits just yet. Bunnies really are the best pets - they don't make a noise, they're so low maintenance, aren't needy, don't complain if you go out without them and they're just totes adorable! I do miss all the cellphone chargers they've eaten, and it wasn't fun being electrocuted that one time when I put my hand on a LIVE wire that had been bunnified, but as long as the cables are out of reach, I love playing with these guys. The one above, Charlie really is my favorite. He is so playful and has so much personality. He's like a dog - comes running when you have carrots, comes for scratches and hops on to the bed looking for me when I'm all snuggled in with dvds. He also sleeps on his back sometimes, and growls at you when you chase him out the house.

I've been doing more research and getting more and more excited about this Italy trip. Tonight I'm going to lay in a bath with a glass of wine and read up about the little adventure I'm going to have. Thanks so much for everyone's comments, emails and suggestions on locations. I need to sit with a map and plan the whole route - I'll be documenting the process on here too. I'm so excited, and it's been rad to see how many people are excited FOR me too. Apparently this whole thing is going to be life-changing.

Benjamin has been sick. He's been complaining of a sore tummy for weeks, and now he's got a fever, he's getting sickies and he's just an unhappy rabbit in general. Noah is also complaining of a sore tummy now, so things are a bit upside down at home. I found this really cool Melissa and Doug sticker and faces book. The boys love creating little characters, and it's easy enough for them to do on their own. Noah especially has been super creative with it - a little art director in the making maybe? It's nice that things have quietened down, and I hope it rains right through the weekend. I'm keen to get the fireplace and hot chocolate going, and to make big beds in the lounge with loads of dvds and treats. I hope that everyone has a really relaxing weekend, and that you're getting your goodies and plans ready for Easter weekend. We're hoping to go to a little Bambi cottage in Stanford, look at it here - isn't it gorgeous? Happy planning everyone x
