The face that launched a thousand hearts.

I started this blog when Benjamin was a few weeks old. I was on maternity leave for six months with him and I desperately needed a creative outlet and somewhere to keep all our family memories. The sad thing is that Noah was almost two when Raising Men got going, so I've missed out on a lot of his baby time.

Noah, little - big little: Here are some pictures of you as a very small little fellow. You were so perfect. You slept through the night from about six or eight weeks, you loved formula and bathing and you were full of laughs. Hands down the happiest baby that I have ever had. Don't tell your brother, but he was quite the grumpy pants and sleep was not something that he was ever keen on. I think he only slept through the night from about seven months or so.

I fell madly in love with you from the moment you were wrapped in my arms. You made these little baby tiger noises and just stared at me. I don't remember what I said to you, but my face was wet with quiet, silent  sobs of happiness. You were a perfect little baby and you never got sick, you hardly cried and you loved hanging out in the washing basket. You are so beautiful. And I'm so proud of you. I sincerely struggle to believe that you were this small.

I love you with all my mommy heart big little. I can't wait to get home and do the 'wiggle' dance with you. Just us.

This was your bedroom where we used to live. This was at Jackal Creek, a very pretty golf estate. We had to move to a ground floor unit at another little house soon after.

This was the house where you spent your first year. We spent many mornings cuddling on this couch with you.

How on earth did you get this big? Man alive I love your little face and those locks of blonde curls (to the sky)
