Yesterday I got home to big little parcel from the gals over at Lil-let's. I wish that I had more self-restraint, I wish that I was a more patient / mature person sometimes so that I had a picture of how beautifully it was packaged. Everything was individually wrapped with tissue paper and string and doilies and bunnies and I destroyed it in seconds.
As I opened things, I was like "Wow, bunnies must be back in fashion..." and "Cool so they also love typography..." but as I opened more things I was like "Waitaminute" as I realized that the parcel contained things that I'd pinned, blogged and things that are just a huge part of my life like writing, reading, pictures, frames, boxes and tins... They had done some serious research and had custom made the whole thing. Surely?
I started snooping online and Emma and Cape Town Girl had received totally different packages. This is what Emma got
They even got Nadia from Cupcake Couture to custom make a bunny badge for me, look at her post about it, so sneaky! And special. Benjamin is going to wear that corsage on his birthday, at his party. She even said this on her blog: "I have had quite a few corsage orders lately. This one was created for a mom who calls her little kids bunnies." ----> Yay!
So why are they sending all this awesome on to the internets? Well.
Share your favorite, most inspirational pins with them and you could win ten thousand rand toward your most inspirational pin. Yes, you could literally win what you pin. They're also giving away ten thousand rands worth of kindles and magazine subsciptions to the most Pin-spirational pins spotted, because (you know) - We are Women and we are Inspirational.
So you need to follow them on Pinterest here and they will follow you back. Then create your own Pin-spirational board and title it "We are Women SA". Start pinning all the interesting things that inspire you and then sit back. You could win big or small or not at all, but you're still a woman, and you are awesome.
Here is a link to my board that I created this morning because OBV I want to win. You can also follow them on the facebook here and on twitter @WeareWomenSA for updates and to see if you've won, or to access help on how to use Pinterest.
How lucky are we! I also got a package, but didn't know when I made the brooch it was for the campaign! Ha Ha :-) Hope you love your brooch - made with loads of love! x
