So, Graeme's Sitting Lamp is doing really well. I've been a super busy girl dealing with export, quotes, manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and even light fittings. I've assembled these nice lamps, working with accountants, marketing, enquiries. Man alive. It's been BUSY I tell you.
In amongst all of this I've also been registering domains, setting up email addresses etc. We finally have the domain graemebettlesdesign.co.za, but for now we are still running off the blog until we iron out the smaller deets. Also, Graeme's blog stats are higher than mine. This obviously annoys me, so I am now considering designing furniture. Because that's the mature thing to do.
How nice are these lamps? I'm so proud of him. This lamp has been on like (I am not exaggerating, I swear) like a hundred blogs. Some big ones too. I can't even keep up, really. The Sitting Lamp has also been featured in Visi, House and Leisure and in April it will be in the GQ, under THE BEST THINGS TO COME OUT OF 2012. *Pinch pinch pinch.
So it's all really exciting over here. We're busy negotiating with international stores that want to distribute, so it's also pretty darn serious now too. In a fun way. If that's even possible.
