Sometimes you just need to stop and hang out.

Sometimes I like to separate the boys and do things with them individually. Get some bonding time in. When the boys are together; They are busy. It feels like we are then just 'managing' them and not really interacting with them. "Get off the table/ Where are you going? / Where is the hamster? / Eat your food / Are you thirsty? / Stop biting your brother / Clean that mess please / For g*d sake, get OFF the table" and so it goes in my house most afternoons.

Then I'd steal one of them, like on Saturday. I took Noah to lunch at this really cool coffee shop in Observatory called Mimi. All their food is like organic / free range and super healthy and awesome. It was so nice, just me and him. We played dominoes, looked through magazines, chatted and ate some really good tasting food.

Then we went for a long walk, we got a few groceries. He got to use the small kiddies trolley. Usually he can't, because I need the big one so that Benjamin can sit in the front (as he is just too heavy to carry!). So Little was well chuffed that he got to do all those special things and had my full attention. He also really loves going for walks.

Graeme spent the afternoon with Benjamin, who I think mostly slept. He does love his sleep and Noah is a noisy little guy, so the Bunny got some rest without his brother poking him in his sleepy face. What a nice day it was for the little guys.

BTW:  One kid is SO MUCH easier to handle than two. When my friends with one kid complains about anything, I am just like chick please... You only have one, OK? I should probably stop doing that though.
