Nice finds for a nice house.

I have been a really busy little person. When I am stressed, I make pretty. Apart from all the excitement, I really am so panicked about everything and I figure as long as my house is nice looking, then everything will be fine. Hey, I never said I was the rational sort. These things make sense to me.

I have been printing, painting, shopping, selling. I'm being such a dork about it too. I got rid of and sold loads of old things and have been putting all the cash monies in to a little glass jar in a drawer. I don't know why. I feel like a kid that is saving for a bicycle or something. When I get to Cape Town to buy new things, then I will just give the cashier my little jar of treasure and watch her count all the notes up so I can take my nice new things home.

Man I've found cool things. Huge big letters ready to be spray painted / spelled out and stuck to a wall. This one frame shop was having a sale and I got coral, yellow and black picture frames for nothing I tell you. I found some nice prints down here to put in to them too. I ordered the bunk beds for the boys, with extra safety rails for the rabbit in the bottom bunk. That's right, the little guy is going in to a big boy bed soon! And those really nice retro red chairs (from VAMP) are going around my dining room table, which has black legs and a white top. I really need to take pictures this weekend, but I want to wait until it's all put together, which is -yikes... In like eleven days time. This really is like playing with a dollhouse, for grown ups. And I never did have one of those as a kid. If I did, it would have been raided by Ninja Turtles and the Bionic Six so maybe it was for the best.

Things I still want: A plain black & white wall clock ; nice cusions ; the perfect couch ; a really old bookshelf and a nice wooden ladder. Have these things I must, and soon. Tick tock.
